The Niagara Ministerial Council is proud to launch this new website. Of course we are only just beginning to get our content added, so you can expect more down the line.

In this website you will find information about the council membership, coming events and how you can get involved. Our hope is that as many churches and ministries in Niagara as possible will get involved. The Ministerial Council is here to:

• provide mutual support for Ordained and Lay church leaders,
• help the member churches and ministries connect with and better serve our communities,
• build partnerships with and be supportive of other organizations and agencies that are also striving to serve the community,
• encourage mutual respect through ecumenical and interfaith cooperation in our communities,
• and provide a way to speak with a unified voice in our local community (and beyond) when the compassion of Christ is needed or where social injustice needs to be named and opposed.

We are also here to listen! We encourage you to contact us whenever you feel there is something that the Council should know about. As leaders in our various  churches and ministries, he membership of the Niagara Ministerial Council is committed to serving those who are in need– no matter what kind of need it is.

We also know that we are not the only idea generators in town! If you have an idea that will make our communities better places to live and help people connect with their neighbors, we want to hear about it. Your  idea may be the project we did not even know we needed to take on!!!
